Product Description
Bikes are a great way of transportation; however, sometimes you do need a little extra push to get around. The eZip Coastline women’s electric comfort bicycle is designed with a 450-watt DC earth magnet motor and a 24-volt rechargeable battery. It is much cleaner than gas operated scooters but rides faster than a typical bicycle. The Coastline can take you from point A to point B in no time what so ever, without wasting gas or emitting pollutants in the process. The battery provides a range of 15 to 22 miles a charge, so you can ride it back and forth to the grocery store many times without going low on power. The Coastline provide a top speed of 15 miles per hour, depending on the weight of the rider, fast enough for most streets. Is your work commute too far to walk and much too close to driving a car? Then turn to the Coastline, which comes with a rear rack to carry groceries and other stuffs.

Customer Comments
I chose to go with a Currie Technologies bike because they are doing it right. They get the perfect balance of function, quality, and price. I went for the Coastline over the other EZip models because it has a nice, comfortable saddle, and a design that is closer to the crank-forward design of some popular bicycles out there. The crank-forward design is much easier on the knees, and allows me to mount the bike and pedal while still being able to place my feet flat on the ground when stopped. This is not possible with the mountain and street designs. I also like the design of the rear rack and the battery pack. It is not very heavy and easy to maintain. The battery packs do need to be switched out annually, but when you compare the price of a battery pack with the price of gasoline on a per ride basis, it is easily justifiable.
The benefits of an electric bike are obvious to me now, and I will not go over them again. To summarize, electric bikes will pay for themselves over time, you get some exercise, they are fun and easy to use, and make riding in hilly areas a breeze. The Coastline is an excellent entry from Currie. If you want the deluxe model, which includes spring shocks, a better saddle, and other extras, you can check out the Via Lento for a few hundred more. If you are looking for a good price, and are willing to go without the spring shocks, then the Coastline is a nice choice. I have no complaints about this bike, I can see no reason why it doesn’t deserve five well-earned stars. – Nix Cadavre
I bought this bicycle for myself and the men’s version for my husband. We have enjoyed these bicycles ever since they arrived. My husband was out of town when the bikes were delivered, but I managed to assemble both of them relatively easy on my own. I have found the bikes to be reliable and sturdy. The battery has provided very good range and power for when the riding gets tough. This electric bike has allowed me, someone who is not a devoted exerciser, to get outdoors and exercise more than usual. I’m now able to ride more terrain and see more places because I can switch to battery assistance when the terrains become too challenging. We are delighted with this purchase and would highly recommend it. – K. M.
