Customer Comments:
This was the first time to buy a bike from an online store. So, I have to figure out how to assemble the bicycle once out of the box. But after watching a YouTube video, it wasn’t that difficult and it mainly helped me tune my Cannondale bike that I bought almost 10 years ago. When compared to the Cannondale F300, the entry level MTB, the Clarity components are a bit lower end. Gear shifting isn’t as smooth as the F300 but it is good enough. I spend lots of time to tune shifting and it is still not 100% acceptable. And the wheel is disappointing since it’s slightly out of rotating plane which can possibly rub the brake pad. In general, the bike is very beautiful. The decal is sophisticated and the frame looks sturdy. I like the handle grip. Its contour is so nice to put my hands on. The seat is not a gel type but comfortable. I have to give it 5 stars even with the not so pleasing things because the price is so right when it’s on sale. – D. Lee
I purchased this bike from Amazon at almost half price. My only concern is that the wheels were not truly out of the box, it is not a big deal to me because I have a truing tool and know how to fix it. The aluminum frame is much more lighter compared to bicycles with steel frame that you can buy for the same price. – R. Villanueva
I was so excited when the bicycle arrived, I could not wait to ride it! Not wanting to put it together wrongly I left the final assembly, it comes about 70-80% assembled, to my local bike rental store and then right away took it for a ride. I have been loving it ever since. The rapid fire gears are excellent and those had been my only concern since I was used to grip shift types. All around this is a great bike. My one concern as a person with a bony behind is that the seat is not as cushiony as I would like, so I think soon I will be purchasing a special seat, but that’s the case with most bicycles you purchase. – P.
