Here are some guidelines for finding the perfect Ladies Bicycles that are suited for you. To truly enjoy and benefit from bicycling, it is essential to find a bike that works best for you.

Picking the Correct Size Bike

The correct size Ladies Bicycles are essential for control, comfort, and power on a bicycle. Here are some tips on selecting the right size bike:

Ladies bicycles – Typically, women have longer legs and a shorter torso than men. Bicycle manufacturers design woman’s bicycles that provide a shorter top tube. They also make many comfort and cruiser bicycles designed for women that provide more stand-over clearance.

Stand-over Height – To determine if a bicycle’s height fits you, you want to measure your inseam. You need to determine how much distance you will need between the top tube of the bike to your crotch. For a mountain bike, you will need about 3 to 5 inches of distance. For a road bike, you should need about 1 to 2 inches of distance, and a commuter bicycle need to have about 2 to 4 inches of distance. Determine the stand over distance for a bike to your measurements (inseam + clearance) to find the correct bike height.

Top Tube Length – You need to measure your torso to get a proper estimation of the top tube length. You want to first make a fist and extend your arm, then measure from the center of your fist to the end of the collarbone. Then, measure your torso by inserting a book beside your crotch with the spine facing up. Then measure from the bottom of your throat to the spine. Lastly, add the 2 measurements (torso length + arm length), and divide that number in half and minus 6 inches. This is the estimated top tube length. When shopping for a bike, you can compare this value to a bicycle’s listed top tube length. You will be able to allow for 2 inches longer or shorter, as most bicycles can be adjusted from the stem length, height and saddle fore, and aft position to make adjustments to the fit.

Picking the Correct Ride

Typically, Ladies Bicycles are grouped into three categories:

Road and Racing Bikes – Majority of the time, road and racing bikes are designed for speed and long distances on paved roads. They typically have drop bars that permit for a more aerodynamic position, thinner tires, and lightweight 29-inch (700c). Majority of road bikes come with many gears for adjustment to both hilly and flat terrain.

Mountain Bikes – With their wider tires, hill gearing and upright position, mountain bikes are suited for all types of terrain, either on or off pavement. Mountain bikes that are built for rough trail usually come with a suspension fork. Some also have rear suspension.

Comfort and Cruiser Bikes – For riding around on light trails, bike paths, or for cruising around a beach, comfort and cruiser bikes are the right choice. With padded seats, extremely relaxed riding position, and few or no gearing, these bicycles are designed for enjoying the ride and the scenery in comfort.

Choosing the Right Price

Ladies bicycles prices are based on its weight, frame materials, and component quality.

Entry-level Bikes – You will find a diverse range of comfort and cruiser bicycles as well as a number of lower end road bikes and mountain bikes in this price range. Majority of them will have steel frames and components that are built to last for a long time.

Mid-range Bikes – Bicycles in this price range might include a lighter aluminum frame that will keep performing after many miles of use. If you are looking for good quality, lightweight and will stand up to many abuses, this is the right price range for you. A lot of good commuter, touring, and mountain bikes fall into this category.

High-end Bikes – Racers and bike enthusiasts who need lightweight, high performance components fit into this category. For road bikes, such frame materials as carbon fiber, titanium, and ultra-lightweight components can add thousands to the price. Mountain bikes in this category frequently feature advanced front and rear suspension, as well as components designed to handle lots of rough terrain.

When you purchase your Ladies Bicycles don’t forget about the accessories such as helmet, bike lock, bike pump, and gloves.

Although Electric Bikes have been around for some time already, not a lot of people have really discovered the advantages of electric bikes. Beneath their clunky and heavy looks coupled with improved battery life, there are different good things these bikes bring.

Basically, an electric bike comes with an electric motor run by a rechargeable battery. One can opt to have it completely be powered by the motor or use it with the combination of the motor and pedal power. The latter is referred to as pedal assisted cycling. It speed ranges from 15 to 20 mph, getting it classified as a bicycle.

Initially, it has been deemed to be less dependable considering the limited battery power it came with. However, current electric bikes are designed with improved battery technology. The new Lithium Ion battery can power the bicycle much longer and farther, making the electric bikes a great option even beyond China.

In addition to being environmentally-safe, here are some of the advantages of electric bikes.

1. Speed – In comparison to cars that are not able to optimize their potential speed due to traffic and congestion issues, electric bikes are equipped with the same capacity to speed up. They can move through routes that are inaccessible to other motor vehicles.

2. Sustainability – There is not much needed to sustain this form of transport. One can get electricity from a supplier or set up a solar power generating system at home for zero fuel consumption.

3. Fitness – Biking, in general, helps keep an individual fitter. However, the frequency of the activity affects the overall effect on one’s health and fitness. While conventional bikes are used one to two times every week by majority of their owners, most electric bicycle owners report that they use their bikes at least once a day.

4. Cost – Compared to the conventional bikes, electric bikes are a little more expensive when purchased. However, their ability is comparable to that of cars. Therefore, electric bikes are generally more cost-efficient forms of transportation.

5. Safety – A positive relationship exists between the speed of the electric bike and being safe from unnecessary and possibly harmful situations. This includes dealing with a busy and steep road, roundabouts as well as junctions and similar conditions.

6. Capacity – Aside from the speed factor, there is an additional power to deal with great challenges such as hill climbing. Hill climbing is an easy feat with the use of an electric bike as it aids in the elimination of the gradients’ overall effect on the rider as one goes through rocky and uneven roads.

Recognizing the advantages of electric bikes, various manufacturers are making it possible for anyone to get their shot at these modern electric bikes. There is presently a wide pool of options to choose from as the market continues to come up with innovations that are researched and developed to provide what the consumers need and want. Above all these good things an electric bike has to offer, there is the additional comfort stemming from the ease of finding a parking space for it.

Bicycling is one of the most popular activities people are starting to enjoy. In addition to the pleasure part of the whole activity, these are also great for exercising. Knowing about the advantages of comfort bikes is a good way to motivate someone to be active and start moving.

Technically a member of the hybrid category, a comfort bike is the modern version of the old roaster bicycle. It is also referred to as a cruiser bicycle and can easily be determined by its unique appearance in comparison to the other kinds of bicycles such as the mountain bike.

This type of bike comes with balloon tires, single speed mechanicals and a completely steel construction. The bikes come in various styles and designs that can simply be defined as unique and highly expressive. Although they appear a little outdated, they are regaining their status on the popularity ladder.

Aside from being the ultimate inspiration to the modern and more rugged version we call mountain bikes, comfort bikes have continuously been developed. They have revolved and have become the present cruiser bikes. These newer innovations pride in having the ultimate comfort, style and affordability that the bicycle industry can offer, making them such a great hit for people of all ages from all parts of the world.

Here are some of the advantages of comfort bikes.

1. Suitable for urban settings – They are the perfect option for the urban area dwellers. Their built are generally for simple cruising and a drive along perfect and smooth areas. They are generally made with fun and casualness in mind.

2. Comfort – Since the name itself implies how the rider should feel when maneuvering the bike, the overall goal of the manufacturers in making this kind of bikes is to provide the ultimate level of comfort a rider can have while driving either simply across town or with longer trails. These are not race machines, and the purpose of their existence is to provide transportation without putting an individual’s comfort in any kinds of risks.

3. Posture – The way that these bikes are build can undoubtedly work well when it comes to issues concerning the rider’s proper posture. These bikes usually come with a frame that includes a taller head tube for the purpose of making the driver access an upright riding position.

4. Smooth ride – Most of the popular and trusted models of comfort bikes come with front suspension forks as well as seat post suspension to help deal with the impacts of a bump or rocky surface one has to drive through.

With ample knowledge about the advantages of comfort bikes, it is not a wonder why more and more people are starting to enjoy using bikes and riding on them while doing errands across town. In addition to this practical use of the bike, it is also a great way to enjoy the beauty of the surroundings as one can bike around slowly while enjoying the sights instead of simply zooming past them and the beauty they have to offer.

Although not a lot of people are charmed with the idea of going through unpaved trails, a good number of individuals are passionate about their desire to conquer such territories. Knowing about the advantages of mountain bikes give them more confidence to successfully pass such trails and head to their goals in mind.

Basically, a mountain bicycle is kind of bike that is specifically created for off-road cyclists. The whole trail that these people usually follow involves rocks, washouts, dirt trails and steep declines. Since walking can take more time, mountain biking is becoming a highly preferred option by many.

It started out as a regular bicycle that experienced much criticism because of the inability to deal with highly elevated areas. In 1966, the term mountain bicycle was first mentioned in the printed media. At the present time, mountain bikes are categorized as either fully rigid, which involves zero suspension; hard tail, which comes with a front suspension fork but no rear suspension; soft tail, which has small amount of rear suspension; and full suspension, which offers both front and rear suspension mechanisms.

Since a growing number of followers are starting to like these bikes, it has become quite important to highlight the advantages of mountain bikes. Here are some of them.

1. Lightweight – Despite its bulky and heavy appearance, a good mountain bike is actually designed to be really light to maneuver.

2. Capacity – Generally, mountain bikes have a higher acceleration capacity. This is an important feature considering the large amount of climbing they have to deal with. Not all trails are on flat areas. These are not called mountain bikes for nothing. In addition to that, the bikes come with the capacity to absorb vibration for a more comfortable and less bumpy ride.

3. Healthy- Mountain bikes bring about a handful of healthy benefits for their riders. Regular mountain biking helps tone the cal, buttocks and quad muscles, strengthen the tendons and assists in optimum fat burning as it works the heart up to 75% of its maximum capacity. It is also an effective way to provide the needed exercise for the cardiovascular system, increasing their efficiency in what they do for the whole system.

One of the good things about these bikes is how the whole biking activity does not entail much load on the biker. This is a general thing about cycling. Since the body is in a sitting position, a specific part of the body’s weight and pressure is taken off one’s joints and is supported by the bike itself.

4. Durable – Their sturdy and heavy duty built make these mountain bikes really durable and reliable. They are designed to survive greater stress from the environment since they are generally made for unpaved biking areas.

The advantages of mountain bikes are what most people have in mind when buying one for their own use. Whether it is for a simple hobby and sports or to serve as a practical means of transportation, they are definitely one of the best options in the market today.

Lots of fun! The bike arrived 85% assembled. It is not too heavy since it uses NiMH battery and not the Sealed Lead Acid battery. It has good components and was not too complicated to assemble. I only have to attach the front wheel to the fork, tightened all the nuts and bolts, and adjust the brakes. I used it every day to commute to work which is about 6 miles from my apartment. I also use it for recreation and for sport. I am sure to ride and enjoy it for couple of years and would most likely buy another one. – T. A.

Product Description

Bikes are a great way of transportation; however, sometimes you do need a little extra push to get around. The eZip Coastline women’s electric comfort bicycle is designed with a 450-watt DC earth magnet motor and a 24-volt rechargeable battery. It is much cleaner than gas operated scooters but rides faster than a typical bicycle. The Coastline can take you from point A to point B in no time what so ever, without wasting gas or emitting pollutants in the process. The battery provides a range of 15 to 22 miles a charge, so you can ride it back and forth to the grocery store many times without going low on power. The Coastline provide a top speed of 15 miles per hour, depending on the weight of the rider, fast enough for most streets. Is your work commute too far to walk and much too close to driving a car? Then turn to the Coastline, which comes with a rear rack to carry groceries and other stuffs.

Product Features

It provides 450w of power from a DC Earth magnetic motor

Versatile TAG/PAS system for added versatility

It ranges up to 15 to 22 miles (24-35 km) per charge on PAD mode with normal pedaling – it can be doubled with the optional battery pack

Patented Currie Electro-Drive system; Shimano rear derailleur, SRAM grip shift, and 7-speed drivetrain

It is suitable for young adult and adult that does not exceed 240 lbs (or 109 kg)

Customer Comments

I chose to go with a Currie Technologies bike because they are doing it right. They get the perfect balance of function, quality, and price. I went for the Coastline over the other EZip models because it has a nice, comfortable saddle, and a design that is closer to the crank-forward design of some popular bicycles out there. The crank-forward design is much easier on the knees, and allows me to mount the bike and pedal while still being able to place my feet flat on the ground when stopped. This is not possible with the mountain and street designs. I also like the design of the rear rack and the battery pack. It is not very heavy and easy to maintain. The battery packs do need to be switched out annually, but when you compare the price of a battery pack with the price of gasoline on a per ride basis, it is easily justifiable.

The benefits of an electric bike are obvious to me now, and I will not go over them again. To summarize, electric bikes will pay for themselves over time, you get some exercise, they are fun and easy to use, and make riding in hilly areas a breeze. The Coastline is an excellent entry from Currie. If you want the deluxe model, which includes spring shocks, a better saddle, and other extras, you can check out the Via Lento for a few hundred more. If you are looking for a good price, and are willing to go without the spring shocks, then the Coastline is a nice choice. I have no complaints about this bike, I can see no reason why it doesn’t deserve five well-earned stars. – Nix Cadavre

I bought this bicycle for myself and the men’s version for my husband. We have enjoyed these bicycles ever since they arrived. My husband was out of town when the bikes were delivered, but I managed to assemble both of them relatively easy on my own. I have found the bikes to be reliable and sturdy. The battery has provided very good range and power for when the riding gets tough. This electric bike has allowed me, someone who is not a devoted exerciser, to get outdoors and exercise more than usual. I’m now able to ride more terrain and see more places because I can switch to battery assistance when the terrains become too challenging. We are delighted with this purchase and would highly recommend it. – K. M.

Customer Comments

I have this bicycle for my commute. It sits upright, comfortable, practical, and very well engineered. It is not a racing bike or a mountain bike. It is designed for riding around town and for commuting. It can never replace my road bike for sport, bit it has replaced my road bike for commuting. This bike is not light, but the front suspension if very good for rough terrains. It is not a MTB suspension; it is road oriented, stiffer with less travel. The disk brakes are excellent for stopping when it is raining. The gearing is pretty short for a road bike that is great when I am fully loaded and going up against a SF hill headed into the wind. I do appreciate the triple front chainrings. I did instantly swap the stock pedals with a pair that are SPD on one side and flats on the other. In addition, you do not have to get the Jango-specific MTX rack. The Topeak Explorer can fit on this bike if you slightly enlarge the seat tube mounting holes. This bike wounld not blow your mind, but it will make you very happy and satisfied when you have lots of miles to grind out. – C.
Customer Comments

I haven’t ridden a bike for over 30 years and was looking for a bike that was comfortable, easy to ride and that I can lift for storage or bike rack. This is one of Nirve’s lighter bikes, but is does not feel flimsy. It is extremely comfortable and easy to ride. I rode it for half an hour with out feeling like I was going to kill myself. This bicycle will last the rest of my life, but I’m so impressed with it I’ll probably get another one. The workmanship and quality are very good, and the price is extremely reasonable considering it’s handmade. My brother, who has a Cannondale Mountain bike, was also very impressed with it. He’s planning to buy one and he’s a distance rider. Even looking at in a color I do not care for, the bike still appeal to me, and I have looked and ridden on many bikes in my research before deciding on this one. – M. Arner

My wife and my 18 year old daughter went shopping for a new Hybrid bike and came back with prices ranging in the $500 – $700, which I considered was too much. I went online and started searching on what a hybid bike is and with this information I Googled 700c rim size which is the hybrid bike standard. I found the Schwinn 700c Trail Way Hybrid. I remembered Schwinn from my ealier days as being good quality bikes. This bicycle is amazing and has great price for $200 range. The paired spokes and sleek racing style Alloy rims are worth the money and when you include the 21-speed easy-fire shifters, Shimano TX-30 rear derailleur, front fork and seat suspension it gets even better. This is an excellent entry to medium level Hybrid bicycle for anybody that is serious about riding but does not want to spend more than half a grand to get one.

I have this bike for a week now and love it already. I use it to commute 10 miles per day. I did a lot of research and tested more expensive bikes, but could not beat this bike for both quality and price. Just look at the features, a bicycle with an aluminum alloy body, front fork suspension and Shimano drive train can easily run 2 to 3 times the cost of this bike – A. Wade

The bicycle is lightweight, rides smoothly, can adjust the shock absorbers is great. I adjusted the gears, turned the handle bars, raised the seat and the brake pads just so slightly and now it fits great. This bicycle looks and feels like quality.
