I just received this bicycle yesterday, and overall it was very easy to put together, although the allen wrench needed was not provided in the shipping contents as they typically are. Fortunately, I had one that fit from something else I had bought in the past. When I went to the handle bars after placing the rest of it together, I noticed that I was missing a couple of nuts and washers that helped lock it in the correct place to make steering the bicycle possible. Type of an important detail, don’t you think? With any luck I’ll be able to find what I need at a bike shop or hardware store. It’s a beautiful bicycle, but the seat is a bit hard as the previous reviewer mentioned, so I would certainly suggest getting a gel seat. I was just kind of disappointed to see that something very important to the assembly was missing. Can not get a much better deal than I have on this bicycle though. I would still recommend this to others.
B. HearneMy mom purchased me this bicycle for a college graduation present and I truly love it. I do lots of off road, trail, mountain biking as well as just riding it in town, and it has excellent traction and is generally a comfortable ride. The only thing I did not like was that the seat was really hard, but I simply fixed that with buying a new gel seat. Now it feels excellent. The instruction on assembling it was a bet confusing but my dad is good with things like that so I did not have any problem there. In general it is an excellent bike and I would definitely recommend this bike to anyone.
