It has been about a month since I bought my Schwinn Coronado and I am loving it. Because of the high price of gasoline I am now riding my Schwinn Coronado fourteen miles to and from work on a light gravel bike trail. It is also a very comfortable road performing bicycle. The bicycle was delivered to me well packaged with care and with a total cost of fewer than $240 for the bicycle, which did include free shipping, how can you go wrong, so far so good. I am a very happy Amazon and Schwinn customer.
Bonnie A.The frame and wheels are aluminum. Spokes are steel, but not stainless as on pricier bikes. Seat suspension compliance is 40mm, have not tested. The front suspension is quite basic, but very functional. The handlebar is steel, not stainless steel, and related parts let substantial adjustment. The tires are 26 x 1.95″, knobby MTB tread; I replaced them with 26×1.4″ slicks for street riding. Color under the sun is light blue, not light green as in the description. Welds look fine; largely workmanship looks to be very good. The finishes on some parts are not as glossy as the highest quality parts however has no functional consequence.
